Obituary for Rodger Ephriam Baughman

Rodger Ephriam Baughman
Rodger Ephriam Baughman was born February 23, 1940 in Fallbrook California. He was adopted by Harry and Metta Baughman while a toddler and resided in Lake Oswego and Portland. He graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1958 but he attended Lake Oswego High until the middle of his senior year.

After high school he was a Portland Police Officer, Army and Oregon National Guard. Later he became a furniture store owner. He changed his career and enjoyed management for several telecommunication companies.

In 1982 he married Barbara and he adopted her children Scot (Beaverton) and Jill (Knoxville, Tennessee). His career took the family to Seattle, New Orleans, Orlando, Knoxville and back to Portland. In 2002 he changed careers again and with his wife Barbara they obtained their PI licenses and have been working together as owners of Free Lance Investigations, LLC.

On Monday nights you could always find Rodger playing poker at the Elks, but on Saturday evening he was a regular at mass as his church meant so much to him. Rodger is a Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus, with the San Juan Diego Catholic Church as well as holding the 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He was a fan of western movies and western books.

Rodger is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara, his son Scot (wife Chris) and daughter Jill (husband Robby) and 5 grandchildren.
